Choctaw Erectors Inc was formed in 1999 when Kevin Ball and Eric Dale split from Derr Construction Company.

Since that time, we grew from two guys and a pickup truck to become the premier Steel Bridge Erector in the state. We also erect commercial work for certain customers. We specialize in complex structures with multiple obstacles and limited time windows to get the work done. We view challenges as opportunities to implement creative, engineered solutions. After our move to Decatur Tx, we opened Choctaw Steel LLC, which is a small specialty fabrication shop. Most of our fabrication work is to satisfy the needs of our Heavy Highway customers, but we have fabricated some commercial work as well. Due to the complex nature of our work, we do extensive pre-planning and engineering to safely erect whatever the project at hand. Virtually every pick we make is analyzed on the computer before we start to perform work in the field. Most of our work is for repeat customers such as Pulice, Flatiron, Zachry, Webber, Balfour Beatty, JD Abrams, Archer Western, and many others. Individual (Steel Erection Portion) contract sizes range from $100,000 to $10,000,000.

Choctaw Erectors INC. is also a certified MBE with TXDOT, NCTRCA, HUB, The City of Houston, and the City of Austin.
